Hope Scarf for Locklear Thomas

I have designed a silk scarf for the contemporary luxury brand Locklear Thomas. The Hope scarf celebrates the Native American Heritage Month and it was created in partnership with First Nations Development Institute.

The design features the White Buffalo, embodying the spirit of hope, while its vibrant colors pay homage to the Native American Medicine Wheel. When a white buffalo calf is born, it is a sign that their prayers are being heard and that the promises of the prophecy are being fulfilled. To American Indians, a White Buffalo Calf is the most sacred living thing on earth.
